Heigh ho, heigh ho...

It's back to school we go. (Well, "went" at this point...)

(Hello, there, long lost blog!)

I'm sure that some people have fallen on the floor and started to shake violently, so let me clarify: the "we" was not a dreaded "marital we" as in "we moved here because we got into business school!" or the gag reflex-inducing "we're pregnant!" (because, for the last time, excluding that one guy who wasn't always a guy on Oprah who had a baby after he made himself look less like a woman and more like a man, MEN DON'T GET PREGNANT). Semantics, I know, but it's what I'm paid to do.

It was a "we" as in Ben and I are both in school. Hurrah! I'm starting a health policy program at Hopkins (double hurrah!), which means that Ben and I will have classes on the same campus again (which takes me back to our blissful college dating days, but without the organic chemistry tests to threaten break-ups every four to five weeks--triple hurrah!). Because I'm still doing consultant work, this also means that I'm now more time-strapped than before (hence the lack of European pictures--boo). The pictures really are that good, though, so check back in a bit and you won't be disappointed.

Balancing work and school has been fine so far--although yesterday, I admit, was one of those days when all I wanted was a cup of Egyptian licorice mint tea and the best I could come up with was lemon ginger. Ironically, I found the licorice mint tea this morning and last night's drama made the flavor even better. Even more ironic is that not finding the desired tea has nothing to do with me working or being in school. Huh.

  1. Wow, good luck doing school and work! Fun that you guys are on campus the same days. I also hope the teaser to the Euro pics isn't another long wait like Leslie puts us through...Can't wait to see them!
